www.yvesveggie.com Chef Vic is a biker, a rocker, and tough guy but he’s also a dedicated vegetarian. In the pilot for “Convicted” Vic, assisted by his Mom, Linda, prepares easy to make and delicious veggie burgers using Yves Veggie Ground Round. Vic demonstrates the ease with which a Yves meal might be prepared, as the meatless ingredients are already precooked and only need to be warmed before being ready to devour. Vic also challenges preconceived notions with regard to what eating meatless means, and emphasizes the importance of heart health for the whole family. Recipe (Burgers) Combine in one bowl – 12oz of Yves veggie ground round, 1/8 cup of chopped onions, 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs, 2tsp soy sauce, a dash of pepper – mix together, Form burgers into hand sized patties and broil for 2-3 minutes on each side or cook in a frying an over a medium flame until brown. (Horseradish Sauce) combine in a bowl – 8oz sour cream, 1tbsp of white horseradish, 1tbsp of whipping cream, 1/2tsp of hot sauce, 1/2 tsp of worcestershire sauce, 1/2tsp salt, dash of pepper – mix and serve
